  18. WinTel has been a dead project for the last 6 months or so.  At the moment, 
  19. it
  20. only works with our NCSASOCK.  It had been put on hold while we worked on
  21. the windows version of Mosaic and until we could find funding to hire 
  22. somebody
  23. to work on it...

  27. However, we just hired an undergratuate programer _today_ whose job is 
  28. going to be to work on WinTel.  His first task will be to make it winsock
  29. compliant.  I am sure that it will take him a while to get familiar with
  30. Windows programming, etc but at least the project has been resurected.

  32. Any progress towards that goal will surely be reported in this news group
  33. as well as comp.protocols.tcpip.ibmpc.
