- WinTel has been a dead project for the last 6 months or so. At the moment,
- it
- only works with our NCSASOCK. It had been put on hold while we worked on
- the windows version of Mosaic and until we could find funding to hire
- somebody
- to work on it...
-
- [Time passes... 6 months....]
-
- However, we just hired an undergratuate programer _today_ whose job is
- going to be to work on WinTel. His first task will be to make it winsock
- compliant. I am sure that it will take him a while to get familiar with
- Windows programming, etc but at least the project has been resurected.
-
- Any progress towards that goal will surely be reported in this news group
- as well as comp.protocols.tcpip.ibmpc.
